Even if you know something

There's a lot of evil out there waiting for me
I wish they would,
and they wish that they could.

Finally reached a point
Where I mean
Only what I want to mean
I'm at an all time high

Had an epiphany
Just moments after honesty
Need to put my car
in cruise control
My stress was a fallacy
Over a story that's part whole.
There's nothing you can do
with what you don't know
Just do good
because you'll reap what you sow
Religious or not let the all good
Grab the wheel
Whatever scar that still hurts
Will eventually heal

Lessons.

My receptivity to negativity
is drowning me.
Being spiteful instead of doing what is rightful
What of my character, when I continuously choose to respond
always giving a reaction as if I’m not aware
that sooner or later by a peer that I’ll be wronged

They say this is an experience that is needed
so, there is no surprise in the future
if you're ever mistreated.
Always throwing shade
that's why you'll never see the light
Wasting your energy on nonsense
when you've got a bigger fight
know turning the other cheek
makes you appear to be weak,
but they have no idea.

No idea of my thoughts
Leave them clueless
they're nothing but empty slots
with visible bruises
and short fuses.
Not like them,
but they want you to be
I can never see eye to eye
with those who spur hate and do nothing but lie.

They say this is an experience that is needed
so, there is no surprise in the future
if you're ever mistreated.
