the pain is ongoing , you're not good company and your considering drugs as a way to cope
You're not able to sleep and can't remember how to smile
but can remember the crime you committed the most recent charge added to your file
They look at you in disgust doubt that you'll ever recover
and you look at yourself but can only see the image of your lover
you lay in your bed and take all of the blame
feeling that you should have been submissive and give your partner full control to tameyou call and beg for a second chance making promises unaware of whether they will be kept
but you'll say whatever is right to get back in the position even if once again you get left
then you find out that your partner has moved on
after all the years that was devoted to this relationship every brick used to build that house is long gone
but your partner wants to continue to speak because there are issues that are unresolved
wants to keep you in their world and be entertained even though they are already involved
my aren't people so selfish always thinking of their own needs
How is one able to walk in this garden and just be careless and plant random seeds
but this is what people call love right ?
where your morals go missing and your dreams leave your sight
all for one who says and claim
after the word is said to you life will never be the same
