Swallowed by the Sea

I wore a black cape as I drowned in my red
Sometimes I think of possibilities and where the outcomes could have led

Everything is done in the spur of the moment

I never think it through
I don't walk on the beach
I get swallowed by the blue
I don't wear a safety jacket
I like to get to the bottom of the sea
That's how I've been swimming
My personal philosophy

I hate it when my feet is in the sand
everything I built there
gets touched by another's hand

But I can't be found when I cross over to the deep end

I'm all alone
in the underworld with sea creatures and Gods
as they determine my karma
I hear demons screams and sobs
I'm not a saint I can't escape the cycle of life
and head to nirvana
I'm on and off with narcotics , sex and
forget my Buddhism teachings of Theravada

I wore a black cape as I drowned in my red
Sometimes I think of possibilities and where the outcomes could have led
Before I'm swallowed by the sea , reincarnated and the old me is dead
