Waiting on time..

I try to be nice but still feel neglected
wondering if I lost part of my soul
and if by any chance it could be resurrected
only time will unfold

I'd like to think that I have purpose
but every effort I make turns into failure
and then I feel worthless
any advice on what to do about this ?

till then a drug I'll find

Unfold the answer to the question I think I sort of posed
what that question is not even I know
I'm learning to put the pieces in the right places as I grow
but until then

As time goes by
and I get old and alone
colour will leave my eyes
words will break my bone

I'll lose everything and  faith
because I decided to wait
what then wise man will you say
he smiled and said
you'll know when time unfolds
